At the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship, our strategic vision is to be a catalyst for sustainable value creation. We seek to empower individuals, teams, and organizations globally, fostering innovations that yield enduring economic and social benefits. Our approach integrates perspectives from diverse stakeholders - including local communities, industry leaders, governmental bodies, and society at large - to foster an ecosystem of entrepreneurial success. We strive to cultivate an environment where innovation thrives, responsible leadership flourishes, and entrepreneurship becomes a powerful force for positive change across society-at-large.

Our Approach

The McGuire Center is executing its strategy through a series of interconnected initiatives. These coordinated efforts work together to effectively advance our vision and maximize our impact.

Support the entrepreneurship ecosystem:

• This includes involvement with organizations like the Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers (GCEC) with attendance and event hosting.

Empower faculty in entrepreneurship:

• Support, elevate, and propel faculty teaching, research, explorations, and seminal contributions in the field of entrepreneurship

Maximize resources and talent:

• Leverage resources across Eller College and the University of Arizona by tapping into university and industry partnerships.

• Engage with the Eller and University of Arizona alumni network.

Support entrepreneurial development programs:

• Assist local, state, and federal initiatives that promote innovation and entrepreneurship.

 

Through the implementation of these initiatives, McGuire seeks to elevate its impact across multiple fronts. We aim to enrich our student services, foster greater involvement from faculty and staff, and bolster the academic standing of Entrepreneurship at the University of Arizona.
